Be a Nosy Neighbor: Check Out Palo Alto City-wide Yard Sale
You know you want to peek at our neighbors' stuff; yard sale is happening rain or shine.
Los Altos bargain hunters rejoice. Our neighbor, Palo Alto, is hosting a city-wide garage sale Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There are 290 sites, and word on the street is it's on rain or shine.
The city's website calls the event "part citywide block party, part scavenger hunt and part flea market."
They promise bargains on vintage fashions, antiques, and other treasures. Some of the featured items include a classic Lego set, a Subaru Outback, and "mid-century modern collectables."

It's all a part of Palo Alto's effort to be a Zero Waste city.
