Santa Rita Elementary Hires New Principal
When school starts in just over two weeks, there will be a new principal at the helm of Santa Rita.
Santa Rita Elementary School in Los Altos posted an introduction on its website for the new principal, Gregory Land, hired away from Redwood City.

Mr. Land was the principal of Roy Cloud School in Redwood City for the past five years. Previously he was principal at Hoover Elementary School and Assistant Principal at Roy Cloud, both in the Redwood City School District.
Prior to his ten years in administration, he taught both sixth and seventh grades in Redwood City and in Los Angeles.

Mr. Land earned his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, and his advanced degree and credentials at Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont.
His experience with high-achieving, special education, and English language learner students will serve the Santa Rita community well.
