This Week: Halloween Window Painting; Preventing Sudden Oak Deaths

Halloween events will dominate the coming week.

Retired Children's librarian Enid Davis will share some scary folk tales and urban legends in the spirit of the season. Audience participation is greatly encouraged. Come prepared to have fun.

Halloween Window Painting Contest

The 50th Annual Halloween Window Painting Contest will be held

Thursday – Saturday. Students in grades 4 – 12 will paint shop windows in downtown Los Altos. Prizes will be awarded for each grade level.

Entry forms are available at the Recreation Office, 97 Hillview Ave.
