VIDEO: Pandemonium Aviaries Fights to Save Rare Birds from Extinction

The Los Altos-based, nonprofit organizations Pandemonium Aviaries and A.R.C. rescue and breeds rare birds, in hopes of saving them from extinction.

Michele Raffin was inspired to found the Los Altos-based nonprofit sanctuary, Pandemnium Aviaries, and its sister organization, A.R.C. (Avian Recovery for Conservation), after rescuing a ringneck dove on the side of the road in 1996. The organizations seek to rescue injured or impaired birds and breed rare species, in hopes of saving them from extinction.
