Teen Dating Violence Workshop is Tuesday

Knowledge is Power: Learn more about teen dating violence in this workshop for teens only.

We are all very excited to be a part of this great collaborative teen dating violence workshop.

The Los Altos Hills and Los Altos Youth Commissions wanted to be a part of this event because we feel that it is important to raise awareness about this prevalent issue that affects all genders, races, religions, and socioeconomic statuses.

This workshop is designed to be fun, interactive, and informative for teens in our community.

There will be fun icebreakers, breakout groups, and a guest teen speaker that will share her own personal experience with teen dating violence. In addition, there will be music, pizza dinner, snacks, raffle prizes, and community service hours can be signed off on, too.

This workshop was created for any teen that wants to learn more about teen dating violence. Topics that will be covered include teen dating violence statistics, healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, strategies to help teen victims and perpetrators, bullying, safety planning, and resources that are available.
