Los Altos Rotary in Liberia: Days 4 & 5

The final day's presentation of certificates of completion included a bag filled with resource books, posters, a USB flash drive with interactive information on diagnosis and treatment of HIV in adults and infants.

Days 4 & 5, Feb. 2-3, 2012:


The topics of the group sessions were the Stigma and Discrimination, Use of Antiretrovirals to prevent HIV Infections and the groups analyzed several case studies. 

Friday afternoon consisted of an overall summary and evaluation of the effectiveness of the workshop followed by a presentation to the participants of their certificate of completion and a bag (made from local fabric and sewn be a local seamstress) filled with resource books, posters, a USB Flash Drive with interactive current information on the diagnosis and treatment of HIV in adults and infants.

The general feedback was that the workshop was a complete success, and the participants agreed to take this information and resource materials back to their various places of work and train others to reach even more Liberians.
