Chefs Who Care in Los Altos Wednesday

There's still an opportunity to enjoy great food and help the Community Services Agency.

It's not too late to register for this months Chefs Who Care, to benefit Community Services Agency.

The popular monthly CSA fundraiser will be at Estrellitas at 71 N. San Antonio Rd. in Los Altos Wednesday, Aug. 14 at dinnertime and the restaurant will donate 50 percent of its proceeds to CSA.

"It’s a fun, easy, and rewarding way to support Community Services Agency and a great way to sample some of the new restaurants in the area," said Jim Boin, Development Director for CSA.

Nearly 200 people come to the events each month, according to CSA..

In 2012, the $30,000 raised went to support our Food and Nutrition Center, the largest component of our Emergency Assistance Program.

Adults pay $24 and children cost $12. Here are the dinner options:

ENTREES
All entrees are served with Mexican Seasoned Rice and Refried Beens 

Enchilada (mild)
Slow-roasted shredded beef, chicken or grilled vegetables rolled in a corn tortilla 
and topped with homemade mild red sauce and cheese

Pollo Chabacano (Apricot Chicken)
Chicken in a delicious and creamy apricot sauce

Mole Poblano (Red Mole with Chicken)
Creamy, rich, a little sweet and a little spicy, our mole is made from scratch 
using 38 ingredients including chocolate

Fajita

Grilled marinated breast of chicken, seasoned steak or grilled vegetables, includes flour tortilla, guacamole, sour cream and salsa fresca - all on the side
