Charter School Invitational Junior Olympics

Echoing the traditions of the International Olympic Games, over 900 K-8 students from six charter schools throughout the Bay Area will compete in running relays, track and field events and medal ceremonies. In addition, student groups from all schools will participate in an opening ceremony that includes an a cappella student performance of the national anthem, a student athlete procession and choreographed dance routine featuring rhythmic gymnastics and colorguard.

Bullis Charter School (BCS) started the Charter School Invitational Junior Olympics four years ago as an opportunity for the area’s charter schools to celebrate community and build closer relationships.
