MVHS November Student of the Month: Zach Boyce

Zach participates in academic, athletic, and musical activities while maintaining a 4.57 GPA.

Zach Boyce, a senior at Mountain View High School (MVHS), is November’s Student of the Month. His optimistic and enlightening spirit has guided him through various activities with a positive outlook. As a man with many talents, he participates in many activities of all kinds--academic, athletic, and even musical activities. He’s a member of the Varsity Cross Country Team. He believes that with work, you can always improve. This mindset has allowed him to improve both in running and in his academics. He has maintained a GPA of 4.57 weighted and takes many rigorous classes.

Since elementary school, he’s been in seven choirs. Now, he’s a proud member of Madrigals, and he’s been a member for all four years of his high school career. He considers singing and music as a great way to express himself because he is able to do it through lyric, instrument, and emotion. He has been singing for as long as he can remember, and was inspired by his dad.

Additionally, Zach is also a member of Boy Scouts and will be receiving his Eagle Scout award soon! Zach really enjoys backpacking and camping.

Zach is also the treasurer of the ARK Club, which was recently established at MVHS. Zach’s positive and cheerful outlook on life has taken him very far at school, and will also take him very far in life!
