Parents of students from both Los Altos School District and Bullis Charter School have, in recent weeks, urged members of both boards to meet to work out a short-term agreement for the sharing facilities, while laying the groundwork for a longterm solution.
And, they've urged the boards to ask the principals of the schools where the sharing of facilities take place to also confer about the practical ways the sharing could be feasible.
While the former does not look like it will happen until later this month, it appears the administrators have begun.
Seen here are Blach Intermediate School Principal Sandra McGonagle and Bullis Charter School Principal Wanny Hersey after they walked out of the Blach office together, shortly before 3 p.m. Friday. A passing parent took this picture, stirring a little hope, perhaps, that progress is being made.
