Journalist and author Therese Poletti will give a talk on her book, "Art Deco San Francisco, The Architecture of Timothy Pflueger". Pflueger designed some of the most notable Art Deco buildings in the United States, including the Castro Theatre in San Francsico and Oakland's Paramount Theatre.
Poletti is the second speaker in the 2o10-2011 Bay Area Masters, The Los Altos Neutra House Speaker Series, hosted by the Los Altos Community Foundation. A reception follows at Neutra House.
The Neutra House program provides the public an opportunity to learn more about architecture and organizes social opportunities for people with common interests in modern architecture.

Individual membership and series talks are available for $75 (premium with buffets and receptions, $150); Dual membership with series talks is $140 (premium, $280). A portion of membership and event fees are tax deductible. Proceeds help pay for construction costs.
