Apply the Buddha's Teachings to Our World Crises

Using the lens of the Buddha’s teachings, we will view excerpts from the film Plan B: Mobilizing to Save Civilization. This episode of the Public Television series Journey to Planet Earth, features Lester R. Brown, author of World on the Edge. Periods of discussion and inquiry will be punctuated by brief sessions of guided meditation, with themes such as forgiveness and lovingkindness, and process work based on the book, Feeding Your Demons by Lama Tsultrim Allione. We will wrap up the day with a panel discussion and Q & A with the Ven. Ajahn Gunavuddho, Sister Santussika and expert Peter Dale Scott.
