Blach Principal Announces Her Departure

Leslie Crane, the longtime district principal who has been at Blach since 2006, told LASD of her decision before the winter break.

Leslie Crane, principal of Georgina I. Blach Intermediate School, has decided to step down after more than a dozen years at the Los Altos School District (LASD). 

Crane, who started at LASD as principal of Oak Elementary School in 1999, told district administrators before the winter break.

LASD school superintendent Jeff Baier said only that Crane had done so "for personal reasons."

Crane was principal of Oak School for more than four years, becoming principal at Covington Elementary School in 2004, and then Blach in 2006.
