To Stay Open, Shelter Fees to Rise
Los Altos, Los Altos Hills and Palo Alto residents will pay 25 percent more for spaying, but residents of non-member cities will pay 50 percent more.
The Palo Alto Daily News' Jason Green reports that the Palo Alto Animal Shelter will stay open after Tuesday's City Council vote, but only by cutting the jobs of two full time workers and raising fees.
