State Senator Jerry Hill invites to you to a community dialogue on the state budget. The discussion is designed to further understanding of the state budget and the budgeting process.
Participants also will have a chance to try their hand at balancing the budget as part of the interactive session. Attendees will be able to click on options to increase or cut spending during a real-time, on-site budgeting exercise. The event is particularly timely as Governor Brown’s May revision to the proposed state budget will be released this week.
