Roadwork May Slow Traffic on El Camino Real

Motorists are advised to expect lane closures from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. weekdays while workers complete a road maintenance project.

Traffic along El Camino Real may be slowed this week by a road maintenance project on southbound lanes in Mountain View, Sunnyvale and Santa Clara.

The project starts at 10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, when workers from the California Department of Transportation will start to grind and place hot mix asphalt on southbound lanes. The portion of El Camino Real affected will be between Lawrence Expressway to just west of State Route 85 in Mountain View.
