Need to Register to Vote? You Have Until Midnight

Online or in-person, you can register all the way up to midnight Monday.

 

Planning to vote in this election? The deadline to register on midnight. As in Monday. As in Oct. 22.

The latest figures available show there are 799,976 voters registered to vote in Santa Clara County. Of those, 19,205 were registered in Los Altos and 5,719 Los Altos Hills. Let's see how much we grow after the deadline.

You can register online through the California Online Voter Registration System.

If you prefer human beings who can handle questions real-time, the Santa Clara Clara County Registrar of Voters is engaging in a bit of midnight madness.

The Registrar's office will be open in San Jose office from 8 a.m. until midnight, plus, it is holding outreach registration hours at two locations in Palo Alto and Morgan Hill, said Elma Rosas, spokeswoman for the Registrar’s office.

You can register anytime, including after hours, via the California Online Voter Registration System (http://www.registertovote.ca.gov)
