Mountain Lion Spotted in Woodside

County emergency officials are warning people not to approach the cat.


A mountain lion was seen Monday night in Woodside, San Mateo County emergency officials said.

The cat was spotted in the vicinity of Olive Hill Lane and Albion Avenue at about 9:40 p.m., emergency officials said.

Residents who encounter mountain lions are advised not to approach them, especially those that are feeding or with offspring.
