Meet John Harpootlian, Appointee to Los Altos Hills Town Council

John Harpootlian is a former Planning commissioner and a longtime volunteer for the town. With Courtenay Corrigan and incumbent Mayor Rich Larsen, he is one of three appointees to the Los Altos Hills Town Council.

Editor's note: Los Altos Patch invited all candidates for office to submit basic information about themselves for our Election 2012 coverage. With exactly three candidates for three open seats on the Los Altos Town Council, the Council voted last month to cancel the election and appoint all three candidates. Since people will not have an opportunity to meet these appointees on the campaign trail, we are publishing profiles of two of the three. The third, Rich Larsen, is already well-known to residents.
