LIVE BLOG: Phase II of San Antonio Shopping Center

Los Altos Patch is posting Patch's Tuesday coverage of the City Council's discussion of the parcel just north of the current project to be discussed in Tuesday's study session. Couldn't make it? At lease you have Patch.

Editor's Note: Los Altos Patch is publishing an April 16 City Council discussion on Phase II of the San Antonio Center that occurred Tuesday night. This is a CoverItLive event, which means the reporter was writing and taking photos as the event was unfolding. As such, reportage is not always word-for-word, and sometimes, due to sound quality or other circumstances, the full gist of some testimony is not always captured. Some Los Altos residents have been watching the development with high interest. Check out the Mountain View resident who said how he liked to take away business from Palo Alto and Los Altos, tongue in cheek, we hope.

The City Council will hear a presentation and discuss a mixed-use development consisting of 100,000 square feet of commercial, retail, and restaurant; 53,000 square foot cinema; 377,000 square feet of office; and a 165-room hotel at 405 San Antonio Road.
