LinkedIn to Host Obama for Town Hall on Monday
On the heels of his jobs speech, Obama visits with the online professional network in Mountain View's Computer History Museum.
President Barack Obama will visit Mountain View Monday for a town hall meeting with LinkedIn about job creation and the economy.
The professionally oriented social networking site has set up a link where those interested can ask questions, add comments, share content and watch the event live.
The day before, the President will arrive in Moffett Field for some private fundraising appearances. Obama will be hosted at a $2,500 a person reception in the Woodside home of Sandi and John Thompson. Thompson heads Symantec, the security software business, and is the only African American CEO of a major technology company. Later, the president will go to Atherton to the home of Sheryl Sandberg and David Goldberg for $38,500-a-plate fundraising dinner. Sandberg is the COO of Facebook and husband Goldberg is CEO of Survey Monkey.
