Don’t Worry – I’ll Grow into my Ears!

This is Tracy, a kitten available from Pueblo Animal Services for just $12.

Tracy, a four-month-old kitten, is available for adoption for just $12 at Palo Alto Animal Services as part of its annual "Home for the Holidays" program.

This little lady is a domestic mediumhair. She arrived at Pueblo Animal Services on Oct. 1, so she’s already spent almost half of her life waiting for her new human.

Palo Alto Animal Services is among six shelters in Santa Clara County that hope to find homes for some 1,300 animals and are offering $12 adoption fees -- down from $90 to $120  -- for any adult cat or dog through Dec. 31.

Palo Alto Animal Services, 3281 E. Bayshore Road, is open for adoptions from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, except for holidays, and closed every other Friday. See its Facebook page here.
