DNC Schedule Day 2: Los Altos Hills Delegate Kavita Tankha

After getting all the arrangements for her kids' school transport and after-school activities, Kavita Tankha is at the Democratic National Convention in North Carolina.

The Los Altos Hills resident will be sending back photos, and a missive here and there. Here's a moment late Wednesday afternoon, Charlotte time.

Bay Area-based speakers include U.S. Rep and former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, state Attorney General Kamala Harris, and former state Controller Steve Westly, who most recently appeared at Tankha's home at the beginning of the summer to kick off a welcome to volunteers for the new office on El Camino Real in Menlo Park.
