Baby Einstein Recalls Jumper Over Injuries
The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports 61 injuries associated with the jumper.
Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumpers have been recalled by the manufacturer after the company received reports of 100 incidents involving the jumpers, including 61 injuries. The most serious injury was to a 7-month-old boy who suffered a skull fracture. Other babies suffered cuts and bruises on their faces.
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recall announcement, “The ‘sun’ toy attachment on the activity jumper can rebound with force and injure the infant, posing an impact hazard.”
Stop using the jumper immediately. Contact the company to order a replacement sun.
