Two Homes Burglarized in Los Altos This Week

One homeowner was in the process of moving in—not a very nice welcome to the neighborhood.

Los Altos police report two home burglaries this week. In both cases, the burglars damaged the homes breaking in.

The first burglary happened on Nov. 11. A brand new resident of the 400 block of Marich discovered that someone had kicked-in a side garage door, and then entered the home. Since everything was still in moving boxes, the resident isn’t sure what was taken.

The other burglary happened in the 1600 block of Grant Road between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. In that case, a side window was busted to gain entry. The burglars got quite a haul—jewelry, watches, laptops and credit cards. The value of the stolen goods was not reported.
