Top 5 in Los Altos Crime: Petty Thefts and Small Accidents May 24

More things go missing from unlocked cars, and an accident, here and there, are reflected in the Tuesday police blotter.

A motley assortment of petty thefts and annoyance calls dot the police log on Tuesday. Los Altos Patch lists the skeletal information, and a week's end round up will run Saturday.

1. 7:40 a.m., Disturbing the Peace: Disturbance over when reporting party contacted contacted police. Information only.

2. 8:19 a.m., Trespassing: 4900 block of El Camino Real; subject cited to appear in court, cited and released.

3.  8:19 a.m., Petty Theft: 700 block of La Prenda Road; cold report, theft from unsecured vehicle. Report taken.

4. 4:20 p.m, Petty Theft: 200 block of Almond Avenue; petty theft, cold report.

5. 4:36 p.m., Check on WelfareL 1500 block of Miramonte; subject panhandling with children. Officer made contact, no crime.
