Top 5 in Los Altos Crime: 911 Hang-ups and Checks on Welfare

Tuesday saw a very quiet day of 911 misdials, a gas leaf blower violation and little else.

Los Altos Patch scans the police log from the incidents from the day prior. Tuesday's police activities saw a couple more reports of reckless driving and more 911 hang-ups, one accident and other small incidents.

1. Reckless Drivers

- 9:57 a.m., 1700 block of Fallen Leaf Lane; Report of speeding vehicles, officer responded and checked the area, no contact made

7:07 p.m. , El Camino Real and Showers Drive; Report of a reckless driver, officers responded, gone on arival

2. Non-injury Accident

- 10:16 a.m. 100 block of Main Street; Accident, no injuries, officer assisted and no report taken.

3. Gas leaf blower violation

-10:36 a.m., 100 block of Marvin Avenue; Gas-powered leaf blower, Officer made contact and subject was reprimaded.

4. 911 hang-ups

- 11:29 a.m., 00 block of Deep Well Lane; On call back determined to be accidental misdial

- 11:33 a.m., 00 block of Deep Well Lane, On call back determined to be accidental misdial

- 11:48 a.m., 00 block of N. San Antonio Road; On call back determined to be a  misdial

- 12:45 a.m., 1600 block of Ben Roe Drive; Officer responded and made contact, determined that resident was having trouble with phone.

- 12:48 p.m.,  900 block of Riverside Drive; On call-back, contact made and determined to be accidental

5. Check on welfare

- 1:17 p.m., 400 block of University Avenue, person in the park behaving suspiciously;Officers contacted the subject and no crime was occurring.

- 8:25 p.m., 100 block of Pasa Robles, welfare check on dog, officers responded, information only

- 9:52 p.m., 700 block of Parma Way, officers responded, information only
