The lesson of the weekend is: Don't take your iPad with you while shopping.

1. Petty Theft Report: 12:07 p.m., Saturday, August 6; 4800 block of El Camino Real; iPad stolen from shopping cart.

2. Accidents and Traffic

- Non-Injury Accident: 3:31 p.m., Sunday, August 7; W. El Camino Real and Grant Road; traffic collision, property damage only; referred to Mountain View Police Department.

- Non-Injury Accident: 6:34 p.m., Sunday, August 7; San Antonio Road and First Street; report taken.

- Driving on Suspended License: 1:03 a.m., Monday, August 8; Los Altos Avenue and Edith Avenue; driver issued misdemeanor citation, vehicle impounded.


3. Suspicious Person/Vehicle Reports:

- Suspicious Vehicle: 8:42 p.m., Saturday, August 6; 500 block of Torwood Lane; officer contacted owner of vehicle, no report taken.

- Suspicious Person: 2:59 p.m., Saturday, August 6; Alford Avenue and Holt Avenue.

- Suspicious Person: 12:39 a.m., Monday, August 8; 300 block of S. San Antonio Road; suspicious circumstances, officers responded, unable to locate.
