Top 5 From the Los Altos Police Log, April 25: Caterwauling in the Chimney

Sloppy parking yields citations, a stranded motorist is assisted on Foothill Expressway, a fraud report is taken, and a cat is unstuck from a chimney, all on Wednesday, and into the wee hours of Thursday.

Los Altos Patch would like to commend quick-working officers and firefighters today for assistance rendered for our feline friends in south Los Altos. Police and Fire came to the rescue of a cat stuck in a chimney—perhaps, much to the relief of the homeowner—at 3 a.m.!
