Top 5 From the Los Altos Police Log, April 19: Open Door

A morning disturbance, some construction noise and very little else was reported Thursday.

The following information was supplied by the Los Altos Police Department. Wherever arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. A fuller report will follow on Saturday.

It was so slow, wethinks the Los Altos Police could see the grass grow Thursday. The top 5 today is close to being all the incidents logged, but isn't it nice to know that others worry when your door is left open?

1. Disturbance

- 10 a.m., Noel Drive & St. Joseph Drive; parking complaint, officer responded and made contact; parking complaint unfounded; assistance rendered for disturbance.

2. 911 Hang-Ups

- 10:10 a.m., 2100 block of Fallen Leaf Lane; 911 hang-up; misdial on call back. 

- 8:27 p.m., 300 block of S. Gordon Way; 911 call abandoned from an unregistered number. 

3. Solicitor

- 3:56 p.m., 700 block of Casita Way; solicitor; officers made contact.  

4. Construction noise

- 6:35 p.m., 1700 block of Grant Road; construction noise, cleared, no report 

5. Open Door

- 7:25 p.m., 300 block of State Street; Report of open door, officer responded and cleared, no report.
