The Week in Los Altos Crime: Three DUI Arrests and a Stolen Car, June 24-30
Three motorists were arrested for driving under the influence, a car was stolen in front of a residence, a home was burglarized and seven non-injury traffic accidents top the list of incidents reported by Los Altos police for the period.
Los Altos Police reported three arrests for driving under the influnce, a residential burglary, a stolen car stolen car and seven non-injury accidents between June 24 and June 30.
A motorist was arrested for driving under the influence at the intersection of Magdalena Avenue and Interstate 280 in Los Altos Hills last Sunday at 3:46. a.m.
Another motorist was stopped and arrested for driving while intoxicated, on the same day at mid-morning at the intersection of Foothill Expressway and Magdalena Avenue.

A third driver was arrested Friday, June 24 at 1:53 a.m. for driving under the influence after he was stopped at the intersection of El Camino Real and Del Medio Avenue.
A 1997 grey Toyota Camry was reported stolen from in front of a home on Woodview Terrace Monday at 6:02 p.m. Police Capt. Andy Galea said the vehicle was taken sometime during the day.

A residential burglary was reported at 10:16 a.m. Thursday at a home on Brucito Avenue. No further information could be immediately obtained.
Seven non-injury accidents occurred during the period; two at different times at the intersection of S. El Monte Avenue and Cuesta Drive. The first was last Saturday at 1:03 p.m.; the other, Tuesday at 3:05 p.m.
An accident occurred Sunday at 5:52 p.m. at the intersection of Fremont Ave. and "A" Street; followed by a Monday mishap at 3 p.m. at the intersection of Foothill Expressway and Interstate 280.
Three more accidents were reported; one at El Camino Real and Showers Drive Monday at 5:22 p.m. and two more on Thursday at Foothill Expressway and Homestead Road at 3:19 p.m. and at North San Antonio Road and El Camino Real at 8:14 a.m.
