The Week From the Los Altos Police Log, August 12 - 18: Petty Thefts and a Bit More

A car vandalism report, two petty thefts and three minor injury accidents highlight the week's report.

A trio of minor injury accidents, a break-in into an automobile and two petty thefts were the top items on the Los Altos Police Department's crime log between August 12 and 18.

The first minor injury accident occurred on the morning of Sunday, August 14 when two  vehicles collided on West Edith Avenue and Foothill Expressway. Sgt. Cameron Shearer says one of the drivers had chest pains and was transported to an area hospital.

Two days later at 7:23 p.m., a vehicle and bicycle were involved in an accident on W. Edith Avenue and Second Street. Shearer says no one was transported to the hospital.
