Sketch of Accomplice in Sunnyvale Coin Shop Robbery Released

Two men and a woman worked together to rob Mac's Coins and Collectibles in Sunnyvale on Wednesday.

Police have released a sketch of an accomplice to the Wednesday afternoon robbery of a collectibles store in Sunnyvale.

At 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, two masked men entered Mac's Coins and Collectibles at 380 Altair Way, police said.

The suspects attacked the woman who was working alone that afternoon by knocking her to the ground and binding her hands and feet with "zip ties."

The suspects then smashed the shop's display cases and took an unknown amount of coins, gold, and collectibles, police said.

Police say the accomplice who aided the suspects is an Hispanic woman in her mid-20s, and that she aided the other suspects by knocking at the shop door to gain entrance. The door is always locked for security and requires employees to open the door for customers, police said.

Once the door was open, the woman allegedly held the door open so the masked men could enter and rob the store, police said.

The woman accomplice is between 5-feet-4-inches and 5-feet-6-inches tall with a heavier build. She is also described as having brown eyes  and hair, police said.
