Battery/Criminal Threats

Mary Herrera, 54, of Gilroy, May 6, 10:40 p.m., at Pacheco Pass Highway and Bloomfield Avenue in Gilroy, for one misdemeanor related to battery on former spouse, fiance or cohabitant, and felony threats to commit crime resulting in death or injury of a person.

DUI

  • Salvador Martinez, 30, of Milpitas, May 6, 3 a.m., at White and McKee roads in San Jose, for three misdemeanors related to driving under the influence, batter on former spouse, fiance or cohabitant and driving with a blood alcohol level exceeding 0.08. Bail Set at $20,000.
  • Christian Giron, 19, of Sunnyvale, May 6, at Northampton Court and Miller Avenue in Saratoga, for two misdemeanors related to DUI. Bail set at $5,000.

  • Jerry Mungara, 32, of Morgan Hill, May 6, 3 a.m., at Wren and Farrell avenues in Gilroy, for two misdemeanor warrants related to a hit-and-run and driving with a blood alcohol level exceeding 0.08.
  • Bobbie Baxley, 55, of Los Gatos, May 8, 10:23 a.m., at the Santa Clara County Courthouse at 190 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for two remanded misdemanors related to a hit-and-run and driving with a blood alcohol level exceeding 0.08.

Use/Under the Influence

  • Gabriel De Herrera, 47, of Hollister, May 6, 6 p.m., at Leavesly Road and Murray Avenue in Gilroy, for one misdemeanor warrant related to using/being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail set at $12,000.
  • Mark Schade, 48, of Campbell, May 8, 2:20 p.m., at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, 55 Younger Ave. in San Jose, for one misdemeanor warrant related to using/being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail set at $20,000.

Assault With Deadly Weapon

Guy Perry, 44, of Campbell, May 7, 10:30 a.m., at W. Hedding Street and Guadalupe Expressway in San Jose, for felony assault with a deadly weapon.  

Suspended License

  • Kamran Shah, 32, of Campbell, May 7, 11 a.m., at 200 W. Hedding Street and Guadalupe Expressway, for misdemeanor related to driving with a suspended license.
  • Arlene Williams, 52, of Oakland, May 6, 1:45 p.m., at Highway 17 and Highway 9 in Los Gatos, for two citations related to driving with privileges suspended or revoked and having no stop lights.
  • Suleyman Ipek, 55, of Los Gatos, May 7, 3:55 p.m., at De Anza Boulevard and Highway 280 in Cupertino, for one misdemeanor related to driving with privileges suspended or revoked and one citation for disobeying sign.
  • Jyotirmoy Ganguly, 48, of San Jose, May 7, 9:45 a.m., at Bollinger Road and Chelmsford Drive in Cupertino, for three misdemeanors related to driving with privileges suspended or revoked, suspended license and driving to the left of double parallel solid yellow lines.

Parole Hold

David Shrader, 43, of Campbell, May 7, 2:45 p.m., at 766 Warring Drive in San Jose, for felony parole hold.

Battery

  • Paul Plaza, 38, of Gilroy, May 7, 2 p.m., at Diane Avenue and Butterfield Boulevard in Morgan Hill, for misdemeanor battery.
  • Christopher Soriano, 36, of San José, May 7, at Peninsula Avenue and Stevens Creek Boulevard in Cupertino, for three misdemeanors related to possession of controlled substance, battery against spouse, cohabitant or fiance and using or being under the influence and one felony for possession of a controlled substance. Bail set at $25,000.
  • Philip Winn, 64, of Cupertino, May 5, 2:30 p.m., at Voss Avenue in Cupertino, for a misdemeanor citation related to battery.

Possession

  • Richard Salazar, 19, May 7, 9:50 a.m., at 301 Diana Ave. in Morgan Hill, for three felonies related to possession of marijuana/hash for sale, giving, selling or transporting 28.5 grams or an ounce of marijuana, possession of concentrated cannabis and a misdemeanor for driving while unlicensed. Bail set at $10,000.
  • Kevin Kyle, 20, of Gilroy, May 7, 9:50 a.m., at 301 Diana Avenue and Butterfield Boulevard in Morgan Hill, for felony possession of marijuana/hash for sale and possession of a controlled substance.
  • Nathan Martinez, 19, of Los Altos, May 7, 2:45 p.m., at 270 Grant Ave. Dept. 88, in Palo Alto, for one felony related to an adult giving, furnishing, etc. marijuana to a minor, and three misdemeanors related to transportation/sales of narcotics, a person who steals another's identity and giving/transporting marijuana/hash in the amount of 28.5 grams or an ounce.
  • Kevin Beher, 19, of San Jose, March 23, 12:25 a.m., at Menhart Lane and Moretti Drive in Cupertino, for a misdemeanor citation related to having alcoholic beverage and being under the age of 21.

Robbery

Derek Dixon, 37, of Milpitas, 3:40 p.m., May 7, at 115 Terrain St. in San Jose, for a remanded felony related to second-degree robbery.

Soliciting Without Permit

Jerry Ruiz, 50, of San Jose, 5 p.m., Feb. 12, at 18940 Fernbrook Court in Saratoga, for one misdemeanor citation related to soliciting without a permit.

Domestic Violence

  • Nicholas Amaral, 23, of Cupertino, 1:55 a.m., May 8, at 19140 Stevens Creek Blvd. in Cupertino, for one felony related to inflicting corporal injury on spouse or cohabitant.
  • Gregg Bunker, 61, of Saratoga, 10:10 a.m., May 8, at 190 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for a misdemeanor violation of a court order to prevent domestic violence. Bail set at $5,000.
  • Mary Herrera, 44, of Gilroy, 9 a.m., May 8, at 3865 Pacheco Pass Hwy for a misdemeanor violation of a protective order. Bail set at $5,000.

Parole Hold

Russell Jaynes, 38, of Morgan Hill, 2:30 p.m., May 8, at 14500 Monterey Road and Crowner in Morgan Hill, for felony parole hold.

Illegal Weapon

Christopher Nichols, 34, of Santa Cruz, 3:45 a.m., May 8, at Highland Way and Mountain Bache Road in Los Gatos, for one misdemeanor related to possession of ammunition by a person prohibited from owning any and two felonies related to possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm after previously being convicted. Bail set at $25,000.

Imitation Firearm

Bobby White, 30, of Milpitas, 3:15 p.m., at the Santa Clara County Courthouse at 190 W. Hedding Street in San Jose, for a misdemeanor related to drawing or exhibiting an imitation firearm in a threatening manner against another in such a way as to cause a reasonable person apprehension or fear of bodily harm.
