Police Calls: Three Thefts, Five Tows

The Los Altos Police log also include five gas leaf blower complaints and a sewer backup on Thursday, Aug. 23.

 

Tows from Foothill Crossing were particularly active Thursday, and one person apparently didn't notice the prominent Farmers Market towaway signs. Read on for the rest of the notable and not-so-ntoable events on Aug. 23.

Gas Leaf Blower Complaint

  • 7:42 a.m., 1500 block of Grant Road; gas leaf blower, officer responded and advised of municipal code
  • 8:18 a.m., 300 block of S. San Antonio Road; report of gas leaf blower, officer responded and leaf blower was not in use
  • 10:34 a.m., 200 block of Hillview Avenue; report of gas leaf blower, officer responded and leaf blower was not in use
  • 11:03 a.m., 2066 Crist Drive; gas powered leaf blower, subject was reprimanded and released
  • 2:18 p.m., Cuesta Drive and Campbell Avenue; gas leaf blower in use, reprimand and release
