Police Calls: Attempted Robbery, A Few Tows & A Stolen Bike

The attempted robbery did not include a weapon, police said.

The weekend of  July 6-8, from Friday to Sunday was a busy one. There was an attempted robbery, but no weapon was involved. At Foothill Crossing, a few more tows took place, but nothing near the high of 15 tows last weekend. There was a burglary of a vehicle at Rancho and a bicycle was stolen elsewhere. Oh, and one person reported a suspicious vehicle in the wee hours of the Sunday morning, but it turned out to be a newspaper delivery car (remember newspapers?).
