Noisy Animal

7:26 a.m., 400 block of Mariposa Avenue; report of barking dog, officer responded and left a note

Traffic Collision

7:55 a.m., Fremont Avenue and Newcastle Drive; minor injury accident, report taken

5:50 p.m.; Foothill Expressway and El Monte Avenue; non-injury accident, officers responded and assisted with names exchange

Gas Leaf Blower

9:58 a.m., 1500 block of Julie Lane; report of gas leaf blower, officer responded and there was no gas leaf blower in use

Identity Theft

10:32 a.m., walk-in, 1500 block of Wessex Avenue; identity theft, report taken. Sgt. Cameron Shearer said someone accessed victim’s account and ordered checks, which were mailed to Texas. The suspect attempted to write a check for $145,000.

Health & Safety Violation

10:52 a.m., S. El Monte Avenue and Hawthorne Avenue; report of reckless driver, officer responded and was unable to locate

Disturbance

11:35 a.m., 600 block of Hollingsworth Drive; disturbance, ex-boyfriend was  involved in an argument with ex-girlfriend, then climbed a tall tree when officers arrived. The subject climbed down after speaking with officers for about an hour and was allowed to leave.

Illegal Dumping

11:39 a.m., Stonehaven Drive and Lockhaven Drive; illegal dumping, box full of used NO2 cartridges were dumped, Sgt. Shearer said. A report was taken.

Abandoned Vehicle

1:36 p.m., 00 block of Third Street; abandoned vehicle, officer responded and tagged

Drunk in Public

9:26 p.m., near 4896 El Camino Real; Mountain View resident Marvin Morales 24, was stopped while riding bike, and arrested when Sgt. Shearer said officers determined he was  intoxicated and a danger to self. He was booked at the county main jail in San Jose.

Sewer Back Up

11:15 p.m., 300 block of Benvenue; sewer call, public works

Suspicious Vehicle

11:22 p.m., 911, 1400 block of Fremont Avenue; suspicious vehicle reported, unfounded
