More than 8 hours after closing Middlefield Road in Palo Alto because of a fatal accident, the busy thoroughfare has reopened.
A cement truck driver died in a crash in Palo Alto Saturday morning,
The fatal accident was reported around 5:10 a.m. in the 4200 block
of West Middlefield Road, south of San Antonio Road, police said.
Arriving officers found a cement truck on its side and one man
The man, who was the driver and sole occupant, was pronounced dead
at the scene.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
