Ten traffic accidents, a report of grand theft and a snake found inside a home top the list of incidents reported by the Los Altos Police Department from March 25 to 31.
Animal control handled the problem with the snake that was spotted inside a home on Palm Avenue on March 28. No bites or other incidents were reported.
The case of grand theft was reported on March 29 at 11:55 a.m. from a home on Ranchita Drive. One arrest for trespassing occurred on Homestead Road March 30 at 7:44 p.m. The fire department was called to investigate a gas incident on Larsens Landing on March 30 at 4:57 p.m.

Nine traffic accidents were reported during the period. A traffic collision with minor injuries occurred at the intersection of South San Antonio Road and Lyell Street March 25 at 7:25 a.m.
Four non-injury accidents occurred within a two-hour period on March 26—the first at North San Antonio Road and El Camino Real at 10:32 a.m., followed by a collision reported 15 minutes later on South Springer Road. The third incident happened on El Camino Real shortly before noon, followed by a fourth on El Camino Real a little after 12:30 p.m.

Four accidents were reported on March 27 and 29, two each day. On March 27, a minor injury accident was reported at the intersection of South El Monte Avenue and University Avenue at 7 p.m. There was another non-injury accident on Homestead Road two hours earlier. The two incidents on March 29 occurred on Homestead Road at 12:45 p.m. and three hours later at the intersection of West El Camino Real and Ortega Avenue.
There was also a flurry of gas leaf-blower violations reported on March 25, with three complaints made that day—on Cypress Court at 8:58 a.m., another at 9:45 a.m. on Pepper Drive and a third in the evening on South El Monte Avenue. There was a fourth gas leaf blower violation reported on March 30 on Truman Avenue at 2:05 p.m. and another on March 31 on Orange Avenue in the early afternoon.
