Girl Killed in I-280 Rollover Crash Is Identified
The 11-year-old from Watsonville was traveling with her family and was one of three people who were not wearing seat belts and subsequently ejected from the truck they were traveling in.

The Santa Clara County medical examiner's office today identified an 11-year-old Watsonville girl who died in a crash on Interstate Highway 280 near Palo Alto on Saturday as Dalia Campos.
The girl was one of eight people in a white Ford F-150 pickup truck headed north on the highway at about 11:30 a.m. when it veered off the roadway south of Page Mill Road for unknown reasons and overturned, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Dalia and two other Watsonville residents—the driver, 37-year-old Maria Campos and Simon Figueroa, 44—were ejected from the pickup and suffered major injuries, the CHP reported.
The girl died shortly after she was taken to a hospital, according to the CHP. The five other passengers suffered minor to moderate injuries.
CHP investigators said it does not appear that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash, but they said at least several people in the truck—including the three who were ejected—were not wearing seat belts.
