The 10 a.m. to noon forum will be in the Mountain View City Council Chambers, 500 Castro St., Mountain View.
Hill and Gordon will answer questions about the Affordable Care Act and California’s new health care options.
The forum will be particularly helpful to people who don’t currently have health insurance and want information and tips on how to enroll in the new health plans.
Admission is free and open to the public, but because space is limited, reservations are suggested and can be made by calling Sen. Hill’s district office at 650-212-3313 or by visiting his webpage at senate.ca.gov/2958/mtviewforum.
Prior to the forum, Hill will meet with local residents at an informal “Java With Jerry” event from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Dana Street Roasting Company, 744 W. Dana St., Mountain View.
Over complimentary coffee, the senator will offer guests a legislative update and lead a conversation about issues concerning the local community. Admission is free.
