Car Crashes Keep Los Altos Police Busy

Two of the accidents were hit-and-run.

There were lots of problems with vehicles in Los Altos on Thursday, including hit-and-run accidents.

The first hit-and-run happened in the 1500 block of Grant Road. No one was injured. Los Altos Police took a report.

The second hit-and-run was at 280 and Foothill Blvd. Police referred the case to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

There was a non-injury accident at Third Street and Plaza South at 2:20 p.m. No citations were issued. An officer assisted with the exchange of driver’s license and insurance information.

And police were called right back to Third Street and Plaza South just before 6 p.m. on a report of a dog locked in a vehicle. The vehicle was gone when the officer arrived.
