Arrested Albanians Face Sanctions Back Home

Kosta Barjaba is a university dean, a graduate of the Kennedy School at Harvard and an important member of the Albanian Socialist Party.

Kosta Barjaba is a university dean, a graduate of the Kennedy School at Harvard and an important member of the Albanian Socialist Party. He’s also an accused thief after his arrest at Stanford Shopping Center for allegedly pilfering men’s clothes and a Coach purse from Nordstroms.

Barjaba’s wife, Fatbardha, and daughter Jonniada were also arrested in the same alleged caper on Dec. 27.

While awaiting the outcome of the charges, Kosta Barjaba is facing serious consequences for his arrest. The Albanian Academy of Sciences froze his academic title until the criminal case is resolved. In addition, the Socialist Party suspended him until the case is resolved.

Fatbardha Barjaba was also suspended from all functions by the Socialist Party.

The arrest of the Barjabas provided political fodder for the opposition Democratic Party, as evidenced by this quote from Top Channel, “The Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, lied to the Albanian citizens by insinuating that he had no connection with his Secretary for Social Matters and Economic Aid, Kosta Barjaba, who committed the ugly act of robbing at the Nordstrom…together with his wife, Fatbardha Barjaba, spokesperson of the Socialist Party group of councilors at the Tirana Municipality. Mr.Rama lied yesterday by declaring that the SP secretary, an ordinary thief, Kosta Barjaba, had no connections with the SP and that no one had called him to help the party, but he was contributing voluntarily, declared the DP spokesperson.”

Kosta Barjaba was an adviser to Socialist leader Edi Rama on migration policy and welfare.

According to an online profile from the Kokkalis Foundation, “Since graduating from Harvard, Barjaba worked as adviser to the Minister of Finance, as the president of the University of Durres in Albania, and as chief of staff to the Minister of Labor...Currently, Kosta is Dean of the School of Political Sciences of the newly founded Mediterranean University of Albania (MUA).”

You think you have too many foreigners in your city, try living in England with all the refugees. I thought America wouldn't let that happen. Everyone comes to England because our government are too darn soft and they let them have houses, cars and whatevef else theymay need to have a lovely comfortable life, while us brits have to work hard for what we want. We are foreigners in our own country.
