It is useful to look at the growth at the new schools opened by LASD in the past dozen years or so. There were three schools that opened, counting the Bullis Charter School, which was chartered by SCCBOE on appeal of LASD's denial and retains its district affiliation for that reason. The other two are Covington and Gardner, which was closed for several years, and limited to kindergarten only for several more.
This table shows the historical progression in school enrollments at those three schools, using October figures for the year shown, taken from the district's financial reports.
