The Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) in Mountain View presents two concerts to celebrate the holiday season: Saxes for the Season on Thursday, December 5th at 7:00pm and the Merit Scholarship Students Holiday Concert on Friday, December 13th at 7:00pm. The performances will be held in Tateuchi Hall at the Community School of Music and Arts, located at 230 San Antonio Circle in Mountain View. Both concerts are free and open to the public.

On December 5th, Saxes for the Season will get you in the holiday spirit with seasonal favorites in both traditional and jazz styles. The saxophone quartet highlights the four different types of saxophones – soprano, alto, tenor and baritone. The group features longtime CSMA faculty Mark Russo on alto and soprano saxophones. Joining Mark are Jeff Meyer on alto sax, Paul Tarrentino on tenor sax and Doug Rowan on baritone sax.

“CSMA is excited to present these wonderful holiday events as part of our free Community Concert Series,” said Vickie Scott Grove, Executive Director of CSMA. “Audiences will enjoy the high level of talent and showmanship of CSMA’s faculty and student performers!”
