I'm Jinx - Take Me Home for Christmas, You Can Count on Me!

Please have snow and mistletoe and catnip 'neath the tree! I'm a $12 "Home for the Holidays" adoptee. (I'm just kidding about the snow.)

Jinx is a 4-year-old black, domestic longhair kitty available for adoption for just $12 at Palo Alto Animal Services as part of its annual "Home for the Holidays" program.

He is neutered, and has been at the shelter since July 28, 2013.

Palo Alto Animal Services is among six shelters in Santa Clara County that hope to find homes for some 1,300 animals and are offering $12 adoption fees -- down from $90 to $120  -- for any adult cat or dog through Dec. 31.

The $12 fee covers all benefits such as spay or neuter surgery, microchip implantation and registration, vaccinations, defleaing and deworming and FIV/FeLV testing for cats.

Palo Alto Animal Services, 3281 E. Bayshore Road, is open for adoptions from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, except for holidays, and closed every other Friday. See its Facebook page here.
