Pathways-to-School Ribbon Cutting

There was a big crowd March 29th for the ribbon cutting at Gardner Bullis School for the new Safe Route to Schools pathway on Fremont Road in Los Altos Hills.

There was a big crowd the morning of March 29th for the ribbon cutting at Gardner Bullis School for the new Safe Route to Schools pathway on Fremont Road in Los Altos Hills.  

Mayor Gary Waldeck and many other officials were present, and he was clearly very pleased with how well the project turned out.  It has vastly improved the path at the dangerous S-curve on Fremont Road and added nearly a mile's worth of attractive and practical walkway.

The pathway is intended for pedestrians, bicyclists and even horses!

The goal of the project is to make it safe for kids to walk and bike to school.
