Congrats to Seven Local Scouts Who Attained Eagle Status!

Seven scouts from Troop 75 were proudly honored at their Eagle Ceremony last week at the Garden House at Shoup Park in Los Altos.

The scouts and their Eagle Project Descriptions:

Nicholas Bousse -17 -Los Altos High School -12th grade -Los Altos

Nicholas’ project included leading a team in planting 3 boxed maple trees at Santa Rita Elementary School and building permanent enclosures around the gardens at Santa Rita and Blach Middle School. 

 Nicholas Davis -18 -Homestead High School, Cupertino -12th grade -Los Altos

Nicholas led a team and built permanent and portable redwood benches to facilitate educational courses at Hidden Villa, a not-for-profit community farm located in Los Altos Hills.

Young Jun (Greg) Eum -15 -Palo Alto High School -10th grade -Palo Alto

Greg led a team that built school benches for children to use at lunchtime  at Montclaire Elementary school in Los Altos.

Neil Gupta -16 -Monta Vista High School, Cupertino -11th grade -Cupertino

Neil led a team who built a barrier between a main road and pedestrians at Monta Vista High School which increased safety for students and the community

Mike Hua -18 -Los Altos High School -12th grade -Los Altos

Mike led a group who built two metal skate boarding racks  for locking long and short boards at  Los Altos High School.

Scott Macpherson -16 -Pinewood School Los Altos -10th grade -Belmont

Scott led a team that worked with the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula to create a complete College Store which builds awareness and provides incentives for BGCP participants.

Ansuman Somasundaram -16 -Monta Vista High School, Cupertino -10th grade -Cupertino

Ansuman worked with his fellow scouts, adults and community to build a storage shed for use by the PTO of Stevens Creek Elementary school, which he had attended as a child.
