Did you know…Over 100 people in the U.S. alone are diagnosed with oral cancer every day, with the fastest growing number of cases occurring young people who are non smokers. Many cases are discovered in later stages, resulting in a mortality rate of 45% within five years. Early detection can increase survival rates to 80 – 90%. The Oral Cancer Foundation is a national public service, non-profit entity designed to save lives through prevention, education, research, advocacy, and patient support activities.
