Run to Read: Shoe and Book Drive

Children’s Author, Sue Fleiss, is celebrating the March launch of her first picture book, Shoes for Me!, with her shoe and book drive, Run to Read: Putting Shoes on Feet and Books in Hands.

Sue has partnered with Sole4Souls a Nashville-based charity that collects new to gently worn shoes to distribute to people in need all over the world, and Bring Me A Book an organization providing easy access to the best children’s books and inspiring the practice of reading aloud to children

Linden Tree is honored to assist in the drive by acting as a drop-off location for both books and shoes.  We are accepting all shoe sizes from baby to adult.  The last day to donate is March 31, 2011.
